| Job Description: |
- Must be a Registered Nurse
- Three to five years experience in hospice/health care management. A Master’s degree in Business Administration preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to supervise and direct professional and administrative personnel
- Must have knowledge of Medicare Hospice Certification
- Must have CPR certification
- Must have reliable transportation to travel to patient homes
- Must be able to ensure agency is in compliance with all applicable federal, state and local regulatory agencies
- Must be able to ensure implementation of policies and procedures
- Must be able to ensure qualified staffing is appropriate to meet the needs of the patients served
- Must be able to ensure care of patients is clinically appropriate
- Must be able to interview, hire, train, evaluate, counsel and supervise agency staff
- Must be able to meet budgeted goals in all areas, including admissions, revenue, cost and profitability
