Systems Manager Pro Tem Brookdale Senior Living is the nation's leading operator of senior housing communities with 648 communities nationwide. We currently have an opportunity for an organized, experienced and highly motivated Systems Manager Pro Tem within our Home Health Networks Systems Manager Pro Tem Summary:. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: • Oversees the day-to-day operations of the network office, including coverage, workflow, and staff management. • Meets with network associates for the purpose of establishing network goals and monitors performance. • Processes orders for all necessary equipment and supplies. Orders within proper budgetary guidelines and maintains inventory control. • Ensures complete and correct billing information is provided to the central business office. • Thoroughly completes all necessary reports ensuring accuracy and timely submission. Oversight functions include, but are not limited to, the following: human resources, billing, expense reports and budget reporting. • Maintains open lines of communication with network associates. Interviews and makes hiring decisions regarding open positions. Works with human resources on disciplinary situations and meets with associates to discuss issues and concerns. • Ensures facility and corporate policies are disseminated. • Participates in community activities as appropriate. • Conducts or assists with special projects as requested by the Regional Director of ISC Operations and community management. • Assists in performing orientation for all new employees. • Maintains proper documentation for federal, state and/or other regulatory organizations. • Ensures the highest standard of ethical compliance is maintained in the network office. Adheres to established confidentiality standards concerning community, associate and patient information as required by Brookdale and Innovative Senior Care. • Maintains a safe and clean work area. Complies with all Infection Control, Universal Precautions, and OSHA standards for the healthcare professional.
• Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school. • Minimum of five years experience in an office setting and three years of managerial experience preferred. • Minimum of three years of recent Home Health experience required. • Knowledge of and hands-on experience with Medicare and Oasis preferred. • Working knowledge of basic accounting terminology and processes.
