National Outcomes and Analytics Director:

*Implements measurement strategies for patient, business, clinician performance, training outcomes and research line of inquiry

*Conducts research for clinical programs and outcomes to enhance and support key initiatives.

*Develops and implements research protocols for internal and external outcomes studies to measure the impact of clinical programs and services on financial, clinical, and humanistic outcomes.

*Directs and oversees research activities and projects by ensuring workflow completion within prescribed timeframe, and compliance with established procedures and regulations.

*Develop statistical models & methodologies to predict, quantify, and/or forecast various business/health metrics.

*Ensures compliance with local, state and federal regulations and accreditation requirements as applicable.

*Proven ability to effectively communicate results of statistical models to broad audience, including senior leadership

*Collaborates with senior management in the clinical operations/therapies/and development departments as well as Training and Development and Compliance departments in implementation of new clinical documentation and work processes in manual processes and Point of Care Clinical Information system.

*Educates clinical support staff on clinical operations initiatives or processes.

*Supports on-going initiatives in new clinical associates' orientation and education of the field operations about Performance Improvement activities and OBQI outcomes.

*In collaboration with external vendor, provides leadership and strategic direction to predictive modeling, propensity score matching or other control group methodologies, and utilization trend analysis.

  • Provide insight to decision makers in the organization using analyses of past performance and expected future results.
  • Consults with and serves as interface with Divisional Chief Medical Officer and appropriate committees and staff for the purpose of Medicare Advantage Risk Adjustment and revenue enhancement analysis, premium reconciliation, HHC coding analysis.
  • Conducts assessments of clinical analytics, synthesizes pertinent information, and identifies implications for planning and development of products and services.
  • Participates in the development and on site delivery of client presentations.
  • Support market expansion - business development initiatives.
  • Support regulatory filings.
  • Prepare business cases or decision support for project investment, including ROI calculations, break-even analysis, and sensitivity analysis.
  • Coordinate with IT to enhance data tools and capture for the department.


Qualifications
  • Masters degree in Finance, Healthcare Administration, Business or accounting, Healthcare Informatics or related field preferred.
  • A Bachelor's Degree required in, Nursing, or related health field.
  • Plus a minimum of eight years health care experience including five years in home health operations with at least three years proven experience related to analytics and outcome management is required.
  • Experience with database management, business intelligence and benchmarking required with mapping software knowledge a plus.

Additional experience required includes but not limited to:

  • Familiarity with HH billing/payment processes, value-based purchasing, bundling and ACO models of payment.

  • Familiarity with Medicare coverage and /or managed care experience.
  • Proficient computer skills with strong understanding of SAS, SL, Microsoft Access, Excel, MS Mapping, acute care hospital market intel software such as Intellimed is a plus, and ability to learn internal report writing software
  • Actuarial background is a plus
