United Hospice of Cobb, part of the UHS-Pruitt Corporation family of companies, has an exciting opportunity for a Director of Health Services (DHS), sometimes known as a Director of Nursing (DON). SUMMARY OF DUTIES: Full time administrative authority, responsibility and accountability for the delivery of nursing services in the community. Manage employees in the provision of care and services per professional standards of nursing practice, corporate philosophy and state and federal laws and regulations. Additionally, some On Call duties and back-up call duties could be required. REQUIREMENTS EDUCATION: Registered Nurse with current state license. Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. CPR Certification is required. EXPERIENCE: 2 years of hospice or home health experience preferred. Administrative experience preferred. SKILLS: Strong interpersonal, leadership, organizational, communication and clinical skills.
