United Hospice of Eastern Carolina at Rocky Mount, part of the UHS-Corporation family of companies, has an opportunity for a Full Time Chaplain.Job Description: Responsible for handling the day-to-day functions of devotional and spiritual counseling on a PRN basis.Essential Skill/Knowledge Functions: Assess the spiritual needs/concerns of patients and families by direct communication with the individuals, by communication with the patient's clergy, or by information obtained by other personnel. Provide consultation, education, and support for other members of the Healthcare center and the community.. Conducts one-on-one visitation with residents. Counsels residents and families when death is imminent. Leadership of worship services.
