Job Description: 

REGIONAL DIRECTOR OF PROFESSIONAL SERVICES

Responsible for daily operations related to all accreditation activities; selects, trains and evaluates site visitors. Performs operational oversight and administrative activities in order to ensure consistent application of accreditation and regulatory standards, site visitor retention, and the satisfaction and improvement of accredited organizations.

 

Supports Board of Review activities to ensure consistent and objective final accreditation determinations.  Manages through-put of accreditation operations to ensure site visits, Plans of Correction and accreditation reports are done in a timely manner.  Collaborates with other CHAP team members to ensure excellence in accreditation and customer service, and CHAP continuous improvement. 

 

This individual will serve as program lead for the Home Health, Hospice, HME, Pharmacy or other designated service line.

 

Qualifications and Experience:

 

  • BS degree in nursing, PT, RT or other health related field required.
  • Masters degree in management or a related clinical field preferred.      
  • At least 8 years operations experience in Medicare certified home health, hospice, DME or other community based health care services delivery required. 
  • At least 8 years of management experience including staff supervision.
  • Sound knowledge of Medicare Supplier/Quality Standards and conditions of participation.
  • Experience with quality improvement activities and processes.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; effective interpersonal and team building attributes.
  • Some travel required.
