A professional Registered Physical or Occupational Therapist responsible for the implementation, coordination, and evaluation of rehab therapy programming in the care center(s) for which they are responsible. Supports and is accountable for the overall positive growth, clinical integrity and operational efficiency of all rehab programs. The Area Rehab Director will provide management, support and consultation to care centers regarding rehab related issues. Requirements QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB REQUIREMENTS 1. Current and unencumbered license to practice as a Registered Physical Therapist or Occupational Therapist in each state assigned to work by the company. 2. Three (3) years experience preferred. 3. Home Care experience required 4. Experience in program management preferred. 5. Current CPR certification. 6. Therapy skills as defined by generally accepted therapy standards and practice acts, performed at a consistently high level, lending credibility to the evaluation of other therapists’ skills. 7. Ability to assess patient status and identify requirements relative to age specific needs. 8. Ability to communicate effectively with patients, caregivers, physicians, and other members of the health care team. |
