Spiritual Care Coordinator
Responsible for the provision of non-denominational spiritual care services to patients/ families/ caregivers, either directly or through coordination of care with other spiritual counselors. Adhere to Company policies and procedures and regulatory compliance requirements and directives. Manage related expenditures in a fiscally responsible manner in accordance with the Company's budget. Travel as necessary.


Requirements        

* Minimum age requirement of 18.
* Graduate of accredited seminary or school of theology (B.D., M.Div. or equivalent theological degree), or degree in counseling, or equivalent experience. 
* Experience working with death and dying, individual/family/caregiver. 
* Licensure and/or certification as required by the State. 
* Ability to work as a member of an interdisciplinary team within an interdisciplinary setting. 
* Comfort in an interfaith setting. 
* Ability to accept different lifestyles, cultures, beliefs and values. 
* Ability to network with community clergy and congregations. 
* Knowledge of and commitment to Hospice philosophy of care. 
* Hospice/home health experience preferred. 
* Compliance with accepted professional standards and practices.
* Valid driver's license with maintenance of good driving record and reliable transportation that is insured in accordance with state and/or Odyssey requirements.
* Satisfactory references from employers and/or professional peers. 
* Satisfactory criminal background check. 
* Demonstrate excellent observation and communication skills. 
* Self-directed with the ability to work with little supervision. 
* Flexible and cooperative in fulfilling all obligations.
